CMDS partnered with New Jersey UroGyn to transform their website into a comprehensive patient education hub. Starting with our Business Breakthrough Bootcamp, we defined their voice and audience. This let us restructure complex medical information into an intuitive, patient-centered digital experience.

The Challenge

New Jersey UroGyn came to CMDS with a website that contained valuable medical information but lacked the structure and clarity needed to effectively serve their patients. While the content was comprehensive, visitors struggled to find clear pathways to understanding complex urogynecological conditions and treatment options. The existing site failed to reflect the approachability and expertise that defined the practice's in-person patient experience.



For a healthcare provider dealing with sensitive urogynecological conditions, the website needed to do more than inform. It needed to create a supportive environment where patients could feel comfortable seeking help and confident in the care they would receive.

Our approach began with a foundation-first strategy. Before touching the website itself, we conducted our comprehensive Business Breakthrough Bootcamp with the New Jersey UroGyn team. This collaborative process allowed us to:




  • Define a Clear Brand Voice: We worked closely with the doctors to establish a communication style that balanced medical expertise with compassionate, accessible language. This voice needed to speak directly to women experiencing pelvic health issues while maintaining the professional credibility that inspires confidence.

  • Identify the True Target Audience: Through research and strategic discussion, we clarified exactly who the practice serves and what those patients need most from a website. This insight drove every design and content decision that followed.

  • Structure Information Intentionally: We reorganized the site's architecture to guide users through a logical journey. From understanding symptoms to learning about conditions, exploring treatment options, and ultimately scheduling an appointment, every page serves a specific purpose in the patient education process.

  • Integrate Video Content: To bring the doctors' personalities forward and create authentic connection, we incorporated video throughout the site. Patients can hear directly from the physicians about conditions and treatments, creating trust before the first appointment.

  • Create an Educational Library: The website now functions as a comprehensive resource library where patients can research conditions by symptom, body area, or treatment type. Each page provides clear, supportive information written specifically for patient understanding.
