The Position: Chief Operating Officer for CMDS

Have you grown businesses exponentially? Do you LOVE to win and invent creative ways to foster business growth? This role is to enhance and oversee ongoing business operations within CMDS. 

You will have proven leadership skills, have an enviable business acumen with the ability to effectively manage, lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team to endless heights. 

Ideally, you would have previously taken a company and scaled them in revenue exponentially, while maintaining as much of a high margin as possible. 

As the title suggests, you would be responsible for the daily operations with the highest level of effectiveness, supervising all or most aspects of the company’s procedures and plans. You would be managing a vast canvas of issues including marketing, financial growth and development, strategic thinking, sales, research, and personnel, so I would expect you to be a hardworking and inspiring leader with the added ability to approach business from a creative point of view.

Objectives/Responsibilities of this Role:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management
  • Designing and implementing business operations
  • Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures 
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance, accountability and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Assist CEO in various new business ventures 
  • Strategize and participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and public speaking skills, both practiced and impromptu
  • Dedication to building and growing a strong and stable workforce
  • Ability to comfortably and energetically present the company and its products publicly
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, including the ability to recognize and cultivate rising talent
  • High-level understanding of all business functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, etc
  • Human Resources management 
  • Managing/overseeing sales and/or marketing initiatives and projects to ensure employee follow-through
  • Employee Tasks: Editing and proofreading employee projects/managing and overseeing new employee recruiting and onboarding
  • Building Operations: Controlling day-to-day building issues and building maintenance 
  • Help facilitate and resolve technical issues (computers/laptops)
  • Aptitude in sound decision-making and problem-solving in pressure situations
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, policies, processes, and staff
  • Be energetic and open to a creative, unconventional office atmosphere. Be a driven and goal-oriented human that can still kick back and enjoy being a part of the team
