CMDS is currently looking for a project manager that will have the responsibility of the planning and execution of all web design, print development and marketing projects. The project manager’s main duty is to ensure the success of a project by minimizing risk throughout the lifetime of the project. The project manager will usually have to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions, and resolve interpersonal conflicts, as well as use more systematic management skills.
Please note that we’re looking for someone that possesses ALL of the above skills:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills - ability to effectively interact with employees and clients via phone, email and in person.
• Strong working knowledge of Project Management tools.
• College degree required.
• Previous direct management of staff preferred.
• Knowledge of direct marketing and digital media.
• Goal and deadline oriented.
• Proficiency on either Mac or PC (both preferable)
Role & Responsibilities of Project Manager:
• Act as primary contact liaison for employees and clients
• Consults with client and employees throughout project to ensure customer objectives are satisfied and specifications are met
• Hold project meetings to update the business owner on the status of the project.
• Contribute to and/or create business requirements.
• Manage project through Project Initiation and Approval Process.
• Mange project budget, allocate resources accordingly while keeping within strict parameters
• Provide updates to business owners at all stages of the project life cycle.
• Leads approval process for all aspects of projects.
• Provide support and trouble-shooting for implemented projects on an ad-hoc basis.
